Sunday-Imagine if I had my life together
If I actually had my life together, I would be writing from my gorgeous office overlooking the ocean, instead of on my boneless amazon love seat that I bought because it was the only thing I could afford. But I digress. Here we are -alive, healthy and somewhat hydrated.
Trust me, I wanted to stay in bed. I was cozy and warm and my perfect cat Finn was in cuddle mode. And as amazing as that sounds, it is romanticizing procrastination. And that lifestyle is exactly why I am where I am right now and desperately trying to claw my way out.
So, let’s try a tiny action that fixes more than you think. Pick one messy thing today and make it less messy.
Examples:
Make your bed. NOW!
Throw in a load of laundry.
Brush your hair
Progress is progress. Even if it’s small
Question for the week: From your Future self:
“What would I stop tolerating if I took myself seriously?”
Answer honestly and do one thing about it this week
Affirmation of the week:
“I am becoming the version of me that doesn’t apologise for wanting more".”
Final reminder:
You don’t need to have your life together to get it together. Begin where you are. Even if it is hard or chaotic.
See you next week!
